Will there be other people on the tour with us ?
Absolutely not - just you and your family & friends ! All our tours are private, so it is just your group – maximum of 7 guests.
What is the cost?
Tour costs will vary depending on your preferred lunch venue, tastings and other inclusions. Please contact us to discuss and tailor your personalised itinerary.
How do we make a booking?
Please complete the details on “Book a Custom Tour” page and we will provide banking and payment details to process your deposit once your itinerary is confirmed.
Where do you pick up from?
To maximise your time in this beautiful Region, we can pick you up from your accommodation within 38 Km’s of the Yarra Valley. Which typically includes the following towns: Badger Creek, Chirnside Park, Christmas Hills, Chum Creek, Coldstream, Doncaster, Don Valley, Dixons Creek, Gruyere, Healesville, Kangaroo Ground, Launching Place, Lilydale, Millgrove, Mount Evelyn, Panton Hills, Ringwood, Seville, Scoresby, St Andrews, Steels Creek, Tarrawarra, Toolangi, Wandin, Warburton, Watsons Creek, Wesburn, Woori Yallock, Wonga Park, Yarra Glen, Yarra Junction, Yellingbo, Yering.
What if we are in the City / Another Suburb?
Many of our guests choose to catch a train from Flinders Street (or another station) and travel to Lilydale Station (approx. 1 hour journey) and a far better option than potentially sitting in heavy freeway traffic. The meeting time at Lilydale Station can be advised depending on where you are travelling from and whether mid-week or weekend. We can send you instruction on catching the train – it’s easy!
What vehicle do you use?
Our small group, bespoke, private tours are operated in a luxury 8-seater Kia Carnival Special Edition. Featuring a luxurious interior with ample space, next generation Kia technology, dual sunroofs and 5 star safety rating. You will travel in complete comfort & style.
What if I don’t drink alcohol?
You will still be spoilt for choice! All of our tours can provide alternatives if you prefer not to drink alcohol – The Yarra Valley offers a range of exceptional Cafes offering world class coffee and a range of delicious teas, chai, smoothies, juices & milkshakes.
Can food & drink be consumed in the vehicle?
In consideration of all guests, we ask that you not consume food or drinks in the vehicle – water is fine and bottled water will be provided.
What should I bring / What about the weather?
Melbourne is known for 4 seasons in 1 day – so we suggest a sun hat, light jacket, wrap or warmer layer in the winter, sunscreen and comfortable shoes. Please advise in advance if you have any mobility or health concerns which might affect your enjoyment of the day.
Are the tours suitable for children?
Of course ! Some of our itineraries, such as the Healesville Sanctuary visit, are ideal for children. We can discuss the best venues, with age appropriate activities, whilst creating your tour.
Are special dietary needs catered for?
Absolutely – all proposed venues will have a range of options for you to choose from. To ensure this is accommodated, please advise us at the time of booking.
